DepEd Balanga City paid tribute to the dedicated teachers of today and yesterday last October 05, 2009 at the People Center in celebration of World Teachers Day. An affair participated by the public and private schools teachers in Balanga City with full of inspirations, fun and excitements.

 

          The first part of the culminating activity is a holy mass led by Father Edilberto Pomer, Parish Priest of Immaculada Concepcion, Brgy.Pto.Rivas; it was attended by Mr. Jessie D. Ferrer, Asst. Schools Division Superintendent, Officer-in-Charge, Dr. Leonardo Zapanta, Asst. to the Office of the ASDS, Education Supervisors, District Supervisors, School Heads and teachers.

          The Search for the Best Teacher in the elementary and secondary and the recognition of the retired Grade I teachers were the highlights of the celebration and these were awarded  to Mrs. Charito  Tuazon of Cupang Elementary School and Mrs.Teresita Cabatic of Bataan National High School.

          Governor Enrique T. Garcia Jr., Mayor Joet S. Garcia together with the Provincial Board Members graced the celebration with cash incentives for teachers. Their presence really inspires teachers to be the best teachers they can be.
