DepEd Balanga City joined :Gabi ng Pagtatanghal ng mga Ahensyang Nagtutulungan” held at Plaza Mayor De Balanga, last December 28, 2009.

 

     The city division, spearheaded by Mr. Jessie D. Ferrer, ASDS-OIC, supported the month-long cityhood celebration with the theme: “Regalong Pamasko, Serbisyong Publiko”.

     DepEd’s superhero, Nenang Karunungan, lead the special presentation performed by selected teachers from different schools namely Jeneth V. Paguio, Leonora Pantig, Mariane M. Cruz, Fernan B. Lezada, Edliza Manalaysay, Sarah Medonza, Janice P. Banzon, Ma. Luisa M. Gomez, Manolito del Mundo, Joahnna Ocampo, Eduardo Molina and Dennis Flores, with the special participation of Ethelyn Jasmin M. Tuazon, VI-1 pupil from Cupang Elementary School.

     Other agencies, also with their superheroes, who participated on the said occasion were COA/DILG – Ana Batay Bayan, Prosecutor/City Court – Katy Karunungan, Water District – Nardong Tubig, Fire Department – Boy Apoy, DPWH District II – Hari ng Kalsada, DTI/CSC/DOST – Inday Palengke; and PNP – Kumander Pulis.

     Hon. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III, City Mayor, extended his sincerest gratitude to all the agencies who contributed to his advocacy which is providing genuine and quality service to every Balangaueno. In recognition of their commendable efforts in institutionalizing good governance, Mayor Joet awarded them plaque of appreciation.

     Mr. Jessie D. Ferrer, Mrs. Teresita Q. Nisay, ES I – Makabayan and Mrs. Jeanette L. Andales, PSDS District II, received the plaque of appreciation for the Education Department.
